The purpose of the Nuestras Voces(Our Voices) Network Program is to expand multi-sector networks and their capacity to effectively address the threats of commercial tobacco use and reduce the impact of tobacco related cancers on the nation’s health and wellbeing, with a particular focus on reducing disparities in underserved Hispanic communities. The Nuestras Voces(Our Voices) Network Program is part of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Office on Smoking and Health and the Division of Cancer Prevention and Control consortium of national networks implementing population-specific and public health-oriented strategies to impact the prevalence of commercial tobacco use and tobacco related cancers.

The Nuestras Voces(Our Voices) Network Program is implementing a membership Network open to organizations and individuals, and functions as a central hub to connect members to partnership opportunities, evidence-based interventions, and many other resources to address tobacco and cancer control among Hispanics. The membership of the Network is composed of cross sectoral members committed to advancing culturally proficient interventions to address commercial tobacco use and related cancers in underserved Hispanic communities.

Anyone is welcome to join the Network. Individuals, organizations, and other networks or coalitions are encouraged to register and become involved in our efforts to address the threats of commercial tobacco use and reduce the impact of tobacco related cancers in underserved Hispanic communities.

- Assistance in identifying and receiving tailored tobacco and cancer control training and technical assistance;
- Assistance in connecting with other organizations and activities at the national, state, and local levels, such as health departments, national tobacco and cancer control groups, and the Nuestras Voces Program regional lead agencies;
- Access to the Nuestras Voces(Our Voices) Network Program web site that includes the latest tobacco and cancer resources and educational materials for Hispanic consumers and providers.
